designer's own words:

The purposes of my project is for the radiator to convey a feeling of warmth and pampering while, simultaneously, being functional for a long period of time, giving a practical answer for the changing needs of the consumer. The ability to feel the heat, both physically and in our imagination, to adapt it to changing surroundings opens new and interesting vistas for this product.
The Radiatil (textile radiator) combines warmth and softness. The delicate texture and softness of the textile, combined with the warmth of the radiator pipes. The result is an optimal merge between a soft delicate touch and the functional heat distribution that entices and invites us to get close to it.
The radiator is a home fixture which, because of its durability, is not as frequently changed as other pieces of furniture, even if at times its aspect are not a pleasant to the eye. From now on each consumer could choose his own favorite look for the radiator and will be able to change at leisure the appearance of this fixture and give it a new, more attractive, look, more adapted to the alterations of the interior decoration. The use of different colors, textures can give it new, more modern and fashionable appearance.

The material wrapping the radiator (Radiant Heating Textile) is manufactured from flexible and resisting fibers, according to a modern technology: pure aluminum or copper wires are combined with fibers of Polyester and Polypropylene. The metal fibers collect the heat from the radiator and distribute it evenly over the material which then absorbs it completely and diffuses it uniformly.
This material is endowed with special properties. It diffuses heat within 10 seconds from all its surface, is flexible and therefore takes the exact shape of the radiator. It absorbs heat of up to 80 degrees centigrade; fire and chemical resisted, and is easily washable. Thanks to its close-knit, its touch is very pleasant and is long-lasting.
