re pet _ drink/cut/re use

re pet _ drink/cut/re use by laura curzi from italy

designer's own words:

Re-pet is a PET bottle for water. The main aim is to “extend” the bottle’s life, so you can use the same bottle a lot of times. Re-pet stimulates an ecological creativity: you learn how to think of an object not only for its primary function but for what it could become. In this case, the bottle could become an home accessory by some cuts. You know how to cut the bottle thanks to the label in which the istructions are showed. We have designed the technological way to produce the bottle: The mould has a removable steel grid that creates the stiffening ribs where you have to cut, so it’s really easy to realyze different home accessories. In each water package there are six bottles, so we have designed six objects with different functions.
