as its title clearly shows, the idea of recycled door handle project is to re-use disposed knife handle; it is not only recycling wasted plastic solids, but it is also a good way to re-use well designed handle shape. since kitchen knives are tools that we use in everyday lives, their handles are often very precisely designed to be ergonomic. Though it is easy to recycle the metal part of knives, the handles are very difficult to recycle due to properties of materials used. However, re-using them as door handles can be done easily, thus it is a very good way to recycle and re-use both material and the design.
