designer's own words:
it's surprising how many door handles on the market are made of one single material. chrome and aluminum are ideal choices because they blend into a multitude of environments. however, i believe today's design sensitive consumers are looking for more ways to enliven their spaces, and would like their homes to reflect their personalities. reflect explores this notion by creating a door handle that tailors itself to the user with a customizable faceplate. customers can combine colors and materials to truly offer a flexible way of invigorating their living space. the form is ergonomic curving in the thumb area and staying soft all throughout. the handle maintains a geometric outer profile while retaining a fluid inner shape.
