designer's own words:

SDOORAGE is a kitchendoor that turns the big surface of the door into storage space.

It is inspired by the observation that many people tend to use their doors provisorily to store things there, to hang towels over the door handle, to put hooks on the door leaf etc.

A second surface is added to the plane door leaf. It consists of alternating flat and moulded stripes, that - in combination with metalboards sticked in grooves- build the boxes.
The depth of the boxes is 80 mm, which is big enough for most kitchen items and at the same time small enough for the space between the opened door and the wall.

The doorhandle has the same radius as the boxes and ends up in a big hook to place towels or bags. It is made of one unrolling.
