SEE THROUGH

SEE THROUGH by FrancescoBuzzo from italy

designer's own words:

Normally curiosity moves people to discover little things around us, but sometimes we don't have possibilities to go deeper. How many times we ask ourselves how an object is made imagining solutions? A wooden table can often hide fashionable secrets and can make unreadable a lot of interesting aspects, making our curiosity useless. The concept is to let daily objects, like furniture, be understood transfering joints technology tipical of wood in transparent plastic. All the connecting components are coloured and so visible creating a surprising effect and arousing curiosity in people, who can start understanding design process, finding answers and new questions. In a nutshell the project tries to move people to a more curious state of mind and gives them hints about how they should see through the skin, deeply into every aspect of the objects also in a critical manner.
