The entire SOLAR project is inspired by the great qualities of OLED lamps.
The name refers to the quality of the emitted light, natural, soft and comfortable on the eyes, and the materials, shape and functioning refer to lightness, thickness, nature, sustainability and equilibrium.
The result is a kind of kinetic sculptures, thin pieces floating on the air emitting a surprising and natural light. The pieces can point to the floor, to a table, to a shelf, to a wall, directly or indirectly.

As premium products the chosen materials have high qualities too, with simple but high detail finishing. The 5mm sheets of anodized aluminium, acrylic or hardwood are CNC milled on microns scale in natural or straight forms, the same technology used to produce the Apple Iphone cases for instance. An interior milled system, on the end of the hanging 1,5mm stainless steel cable, allows the easy angled positioning of the pieces.
The chosen OLED lamps, all in 140x140 multiple modules (1/4/6/8/12) for different light powers possibilities and functionalities, are positioned as they are, without disguises and showing its mainstream technology. They are attached to the CNC milled lampshade by a thin and strong double-sided tape to last for generations.

The option for this materials, components and manufacturing technologies allow a good perception of the quality of the products and its components, maintaining good commercial arguments on production costs and final price. The product packaging will result light and as thin as it is possible..
