designer's own words:

the door handle “straw“ is a simple and ecological idea that can be produced from a steel or aluminium pipe by cold production processes (bent and pressed or hydroformed). it is also easy to be found in the darkness thanks to the phosphorescent hoop around his axis of rotation, which loads with ambient light.
