Banks sell IN-TANGIBLE services. But their Brand Message and Relevance to their Customer’s everyday lives could be much stronger if they would become TANGIBLE. Through 3D-Prnting technology Deutsche Bank could offer tangible products that could stress Deutsche Bank’s image as a Solution Provider that could enhance its Customer’s feeling of Security (someone to rely on) and provide new relevant Experiences. These could be achieved by setting up 3D-Printers next to its ATM stations.
Here are proposed 2 solutions:
A. PROBLEM SOLVER: For the small every-day life inconveniences Deutsche Bank could offer through an app various Tools/Solutions so its customers could download them and 3D-Print them in their nearest Deutsche Bank Branch.
B. PRE.EXPERIENCE PROVIDER: When a Customer is using his/her Deutsche Bank credit card, the Bank could provide 3D-Printed objects, related to the purchase that could give a feeling of pre-experience. A clever case for the new mobile phone, a vase for some flowers bought online, they smart QR-key for the hotel the Customer just booked (in collaboration with hotels/agencies).
The Banking Services become Tangible. Deutsche Bank will not only be in its Customer’s hands and then in their hearts…
