tartan is a collection of seating elements for outdoor use. it is constructed from tubular curved steel tubes and covered by an irregular grid of wire, alluding to tartan patterns, traditionally associated with the blankets we use when we go for picknicks.
a broad colour-range further expresses the informal and comfortable character of the pieces, making them suitable for both private homes and semi-public environments like e.g. museum cafés or university campuses.
