Thaw Clock

designer's own words:

The Thaw Clock is an object whose purpose is to inspire people to think about what’s happening in our planet, in reference to global warming, and
more specifically, about the meaning of the rising temperature of the Poles.

Thus, the Thaw Clock is intended to make a S.O.S. call, with the sentence “Time to act is now” as a premise.
