designer's own words:

I wanted to match your style and show the experience of music at a table. Sound that emits from the radio has multi-dimensions of pulsing radio waves with alternating pressure and the notes and texture of music or voice. I used the pulsing parenthesis for radio waves and the flowing shapes to show the dimension of sound flowing around the space.
