A child’s perspective: one of the best to look upon when designing. This is a perspective that is not spoilt by the harsh influences of our world we have built. Personal experiences at a young age informed my design of the intrinsic fun around rivers! My fascination with motion, smell, the intuitiveness of the water, perpetual sound and manipulation of light create this sensory adventure. My proposal is to encourage this interaction with the river through "Tools for Discovering"; an idea that gives people an experience of what Lexus is about, as well as incorporating the insight of rivers. My “Tools for Discovering" is an installation proposal from local authorities/companies to the public. The "Tools for Discovery" are composed of six factors, that could be expanded still. Composed from the encouragement of adventure, FUN and play, the idea of Ometenashi is to entertain the guests whole-heartedly. The nature of intuition encourages the user to interact instinctively with various installments.
