designer's own words:

The Tough Cart concentrates on a design that provides a compact, light, and stable structure that is compact when used as a cart and spacious when used as a shelter. The design exerts a four wheel structure that is pushed or pulled by a top handle bar. The cart can also be picked up and pulled on its back two wheels. This allows the cart to move easily on rough terrain. The shelter of the cart is accessed by pushing on the release buttons and pulling the telescoping handle bar out. This creates an awning to rest a tarp on top of. The tarp that is stored on front of the cart is wrapped around the framework of the cart creating the shelter. A rubber mat that is stored on the second handle bar is then unfolded out for a sleeping surface. The frame of the cart is made of tough aluminum extrusions and molded plastic connecting pieces. The storage space in this concept is comprised of a two compartment space to separate personal items, and an elastic mesh storage space on top for cans. This large space on top expands to maximize the amount of cans for profit of the user. The compartments are made of a tough waterproof fabric, with a zipper on each side. The design is able to keep all belongings contained while the shelter is extended and in use.
