‘Water communication’ project is a study on how the value of water is communicated through design of products, and our perception of amount and quality of water. It is a result of a need to personalize ourselves more with the water itself, at these very moments when we are using it, through the interfaces that it goes through.
By referring to the world misuse and abuse of natural resources, where desire overflows its material limits and subverts the function of everyday objects, this project addresses the models of need that are usually limited to campaign advertisements.
‘Water communication’ provides a service in the form of experience, encouraging the user to re-think his perception of water consumption through everyday products. The user becomes a protagonist of narrative experience rather than a passive consumer.
