‘berlin boombox’ with iPhone by axel pfaender

built using heavy corrugated cardboard with screenprinted black and white graphics, the ‘berlin boombox‘ by german designer axel pfaender features a strong carrying handle and a single big aluminium knob for power and volume. electronic parts include an integrated digital 2×5 watt amplifier powered by three AAA batteries and hi-fi speakers. a 3.5 mm stereo jack ensures that a wide range of devices can be used. through the use of an extension cable, the product also becomes compatible with iPhones, PCs, macs or tablets.
