Bolid – heavy duty tractor concept
bolid is a next generation tractor concept for large scale farms, where you can find in america or australia. the basic concept is unmanned operation of a farm vehicle during its task on the field, through the use of gps and cpu navigation. manual operation is mainly needed for such uses as driving on the road. the flying cabin module allows the farmer to leave his vehicle at anytime and independent of topographical conditions. it allows him to control many tractors simultaneously, or simply tend to other business. the contrast between soft and rugged forms communicate the tractors approach to functionality, high tech meets hard work. the overall shape of a bull expresses its powerful attitude.
