Costantino Cattaneo zotta: UX3 (unit by 3) low table
"Outline of a collection" is the first self commissioned project by Costantino Cattaneo Zotta. Ux3 and Ux4 (unit by three and unit by four ) a bent sheet of aluminium as a varnished table and a leather covered stool both in geometrical style. Accross the repetition of a unique slim form along a central axis this creates a self supporting structure which becomes a graphic grid to experiment soft chromatism.
GRAVITY mirror ,through a simple game of reflections, deceives us that a spinning top is floating through space in zero gravity.
The need to recall an old glass diffuser, the idea of Ri-luce is created. A disused object, however full of nostalgic affection, is the main function of light diffusion, through the interaction of redesigned components, therefore giving it a new identity.
