meeting area

field has been designed as fabbians exhibition space at euroluce 2011. field looks at a natural organic language of growing forms to create a more fluid a delicate exhibition space in contrast to the heavy architectural spaces traditionally found at the fairground during milan furniture fair.

a network of varying height painted dowels support a series of circular ‘floating’ platforms presenting fabbians collection.

this verticality is also repeated in the dividing screen between the meeting area and exhibition space. a large suspend glass tile wall creates a physical and acoustic barrier, it also creates strong diffracted graphical forms of the meeting area beyond.

in addition the reception desk is filled with tiles from the roofer pendants creating a colourful focal point with the monochrome colours of the structure.
