‘ground mirror’ public library by david tajchman

paris-based architectural studio david tajchman with nathanael dorenthas developed a public library in daegu, south korea. ‘ground mirror’ covers 3100 sqm of floor area, allowing for landscape and greenspace implementation within the site. adjoined to the northeastern side of the site, it becomes a buffer zone along a 45 meter wide roadway. the project provides a large public park on the southwestern elevation, implenting a continuous flow throughout the existing urban plan.
