‘heavy stock’ by canadian designer d calen knauf is a low, sturdy, and simple shelving system. the steel parts resemble sheets of paper with their thin profile and folded corners. the radius created by a creased bend of the object is mirrored on the edge of the maple legs to create a curious connection between the two materials. once mounted to the stands the unit is rigid and stable without bracing. the product can be flat packed and arranged in an infinite number of configurations.
