kalimero is the name of the brand new lamp series, designed by kaschkasch. the light series includes two table lamps in different heights – completed by a floor lamp. the lamps have a minimalistic graphic look and are reduced to geometrical shapes. behind this simple and equally striking impression there is an innovative and smart idea… the lampshade sits on the bulb like a hat or an eggshell and through a magnet, which is located in the light bulb, it is possible to pan the shade in nearly every direction. that allows you to direct the light beam, which is functional and aesthetic at the same time. on the other hand there is an atmospheric light where you can pan the shade into a vertical position – if the lamp stands in front of a wall and the lampshade is moved to the wall, so it becomes an indirect and ambient light.

it is possible to dismantle kalimero into its basic parts so you can remove the lampshade anytime. the lamp stand is a solid CNC machined steel cylinder and is removable placed on the tube. in this area the tube is bended so it is impossible to fall over. kalimero is made of steel and the surface is powder coated. the heights of the different lamps are 360mm, 500 mm and 1450mm.
