its been a while that we are questioning the concept of volume in our 2D pieces (cf the OnOff 3D concept ). the main idea for the exhibition was to introduce depth in the wall by experimenting the 3D effect with bi colored blue and red glasses as an optic graffiti. when PGC & frichez nous la paix gallery asked us to intervene in their space we found that it could be a good occasion to push our 3D/volume reflection far away. so we be begin to think of a unique installation that would fit only in this space for the exhibition. this space had to be the representation of our walls atmosphere in three dimension. we wanted to feel our paint alive. by this way the spectators was totally emerge in the heart of our world. an oniric, surrealistic and highly colored world witch was highlighted to make an impact. our product design experience at school helped us to conceptualize the main idea in volume helped by our friends club 300. we worked 5 days and 5 night in a real workshop atmosphere. the whole installation was composed by nearly 1000 green and colored cones, white rabbits, little houses and that giant black characters. all object were constructed in paper or cardboard. the OnOff black man landed it this world by chance (as the spectator ), and he is surrendered by that world strange graphic atmosphere. so the name “enter the wall” was an evidence for us !!
