czech designer martin žampach has developed ‘poly’, a collection of bowls which are made out of a veneer and cork layers sandwiched together. the materials allow for segments to be shaped in extreme ways. when all the parts are locked to form the item, the structure gets its strength. they fit together in several ways to form 2d/3d ornamental illusions. their simple functions make the pieces ideal for table settings.
