the raster shelving unit by german designer halfmann mennickheim is developed out of a perforated wall normally used in workshops. by folding sheet metal, it becomes a three dimensional object with trays that allows for mounting hooks to multiple sections. it can also be used as a wardrobe, a kitchen shelf or kids’ toy storage.
