‘reading room’ by dag studio
looking for an opportunity to develop an innovative and simple modular shelving system, tel-aviv-based studio DAG has developed a library for the illustration books collection of the israeli museum in jerusalem. the use of thin metal sheet gives an airy and delicate look to the dense space, and yet can carry enough weight. from this, the shelves easily interconnect and multiple shelves create a colorful game.
