parisian designer samuel accoceberry has designed a collection of carpets for chevalier edition that express the spirit of plaiting and craftsmanship. continuing the traditional knowledge of the family business, chevalier conservation, established in france since 1918, represents and respects the same values of quality, innovation and tradition.

the collaboration uses the authentic age old tradition and technique of hand-knotting into contemporary artistic expressions. the strong graphic element of the rugs make the pieces easily adaptable to various sizes and shapes. coming in a wide range of colors, the polymorphic objects offer a high-quality of plaited and creative patterns.

  • Love it + love the concept behind it 🙂

  • Retro rules!!! The retro style dates from de 40s/ 50s and was created in response to a need for bold and alluring graphism in comunication. Flyers from those decades are still as eye-catching as they were and the style itself keeps getting reused and reinvented in today\’s communication. I really believe those were golden years for design, my work shouts it out loud =)

Congratulations Samuel, for joining the club and paying such a great tribute!!! It\’s an awesome rug!!

  • A strong, retro graphism… in a way, kinda poethic! There’s a past to teach us how to do it in the future, and samuel got that right! Congratulations Samuel
