‘fibonacci cabinet’ by utopia architecture

guangzhou-based architecture and design studio utopia have created a functional cabinet that draws influences from traditional chinese medicine storage units, where all the drawers are the same size. by applying the principles of the fibonacci sequence, the golden ratio presents a new format of arranging the furniture components into multi-functional systems. composed of seven units, a big cabinet on the top (550mm x 550mm), five drawers (340mm, 210mm,130mm,80mm,50mm in length and width respectively) and a table base on the bottom, which could be used separately, combines the freedom to incorporate the modular series into different interior spaces or scenarios.
