‘spaghetable’ by robert law from china, is one of the 100 shortlisted entries from our recent designboom competition ‘it’s aperitivo time’ in collaboration with peroni nastro azzurro and alessi.
inspired by spaghetti & peroni’s beer glass, ‘spaghetable’ is a stylish bar table as well as a storage for belongings. the form was created by blending circles & squares using elastic bands and the hidden tray inside allows you to store purses, handbags, cell phones etc.
the projects of the competition’s shortlisted winners will be exhibited from september 30th to october 4th, 2009 at the institute of contemporary arts (ICA) in london. the final results will be revealed after the opening of the show.
