sinapsis: 'after office tie' it's aperitivo time competition shortlisted revealed

‘after office tie’ by sinapsis stutdio

‘after office tie’ designed by argentinian sinapsis studio, is one of the 100 shortlisted entries from our recent designboom competition ‘it’s aperitivo time’ in collaboration with peroni nastro azzurro and alessi. a bottle opener attached to the edge of the tie allows users to open bottles easily for any occasions.

the projects of the competition’s shortlisted winners will be exhibited from september 30th to october 4th, 2009 at the institute of contemporary arts (ICA) in london. the final results will be revealed after the opening of the show.

    Loxlee says:
  • Brilliant. I want!

    Chus says:
  • cool idea

    surasekk says:
  • has anyone thought the fact, that it would be striking with your belt and making a noise every once in a while, specially when you are seating and standing up. just try a regular bottle opener attached to your neck to know the results

    luigilf says:
  • anyway, it’s indeed a pretty cool idea

    luigilf says:
  • Would make more sense to me if it was on the smaller end of the tie, so it isn’t always visible.

    therris says:
  • sorry but are you blind, this wouldn’t be cool to have at the end of your tie, i’d put this nearly on the same par as the cap that holds two cans on your head with the straws!

    OOartin says:
  • come on~ can you see a t-back underwear behind?

    lawbert says:
  • There I am thinking Peroni has a certain amount of class about it. This is a weak idea that I would associate with Carling or Fosters. Either way I hope its machine washable as you would stink of stale beer the next time you come to wear it. I thought Peroni wanted classy innovations not cheap gimmicks..!

    Terance Conran says:
  • meh…I’m not a dude and I don’t drink. :\

    Lucy says:
  • oh boy. this one is just silly!

    mdl says:
  • Relax, it is rather clever. This is beer we are talking about not champagne.

    Sana says:
  • It’s rock’n roll.
