Épée (spade) fountain pen, is a new design inspired by the very first fountain pens made by Lucio Rossi. In the search for a very streamlined pen that would reflect the dimensions of the 2mm mechanical pencils, any traditional way of constructing them was discarded and Instead the solution was to use screws to build them, but, at the moment of prototyping, no screw under 3mmm in diameter was available except for the ones that are 1.5mm and you find on the tip of any fencing sword…. Current designs are using a standard 2mm diameter.
MATERIALS: Stainless steel, resin.
POINTS: Stainless steel number 5 nibs available in extra fine/fine/medium & broad.
DIMENSIONS: Length, 133 mm. Diameter, 9/10mm. Weight, 21g.
SYSTEM: International (Pelikan type) long/short cartridges or international converters (to use with bottled ink).
The converter is not included.

Lucio Rossi Design is an award winning multidisciplinary design studio founded and led by Prof. Architect Lucio A. Rossi, an Argentinean born artist/designer that begun practicing design and architecture in Buenos Aires.
2013 was the year of the foundation of the first design studio in Paris, France, and today the office is located in Italy.
In late 2021, and as a continuation of a manufacturing side project, the office has created a new, more dynamic and innovative collection of products, the LRD concept, first presented with big success in the Paris Design Week in 2017. The 2022 new line groups a series of objects under a common theme, the home office. Two pieces of the new collection are now present in the design boom shop.

shipping policy
Shipping policy:
Goods, if available at the time of the order at the warehouses of LRD, will be shipped from Monday to Friday during business hours by an specialized carrier in the an appropriate package for being delivered to the indicated customer's address or to any other address indicated. Shipping costs for delivery in Italy and in the EU countries are charged at a flat fee to the Customer and will be applied according to what is indicated in the “cart”. The delivery terms indicated refer to the products available at our warehouses and must be understood as non-binding for LRD, which may subsequently confirm or modify them, according to actual needs. However, it is understood that LRD will issue the invoice on the shipping date.
Delivery fees are as follows:
Europe: Free shipping is offered for orders over 85 euros. Below 85€ a flat fee of 15€ will apply.
United States & Canada: Free shipping is offered for orders over 135 euros. Below 135€ a flat fee of 20€ will apply.
China, Japan, Korea and Singapore: Free shipping is offered for orders of at least € 165.00, before that, a flat rate of 25€ will apply.
Rest of the world: Free shipping is offered for orders of at least € 165.00, before that, a flat rate of 30€ will apply.
LRD Informs you that:

The provision of goods requires the use of your personal data (full name, address, tax ID (if apply) for the invoicing, telephone, e-mail address) for purposes strictly related to the requested service. In the absence of such data it will not be possible to proceed with the supply.

The processing of personal data will take place with and without the aid of electronic or automated means directly from the owner's organization, as well as from the Service Company, as Data Processors.

The data, if this is instrumental to the pursuit of the purposes indicated in point A. , may be communicated to LRD. as Data Processor.

In relation to the processing of personal data carried out by LRD, The customer has the right to exercise the rights referred to in Article 7 of the Legislative Decree 196/03.

LRD do not hold, store or has any access to any card number or payment information. Payment processes are carried out by third parties as Stripe, Paypal or Skrill.

Paypal claims
Although many times it is clear for customers that a paypal claim might be the way for solving any discrepancy, sometimes it may happen that Paypal will support the merchant and not the end customer, therefore, we strongly advice our customers, that before entering into a claim with paypal it will be always easier, faster and cheaper to find a solution to whatever problem that may arise. It is understood at LRD that such claims should be made when no understanding is met, but it is always LRDs goal to give great customer care and avoid any dispute. Prior the start of any paypal claim, we understand that a solution can be found to satisfy the customer and avoid our stuff to use valuable time in claims that can be solved in constructive manner.

WITHDRAWAL
The customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract, without any penalty and without specifying the reason, within eight (8) days from the date of receipt of the purchased products.
In this case, he must return the products, with transport costs at his own expense to LRD, delivering them to the courier for shipment within fifteen (15) days from the reception of the product(s).
The Right of Withdrawal - in addition to compliance with the terms and methods described in the previous points - is understood to be properly exerted if the following conditions are also fully met:
- The communication must have taken place within 8 days of receipt of the products;
- Products must not have been inked, used or damaged;
- The identification tag must still be stuck on the products;
- Products must be returned untouched and unused in their original packaging;
- Returned products must be sent to LRD in a single shipment;
- Returned products must be delivered to the courier within fifteen (15) days from the date on which the products were received.
