Our pendant lamp offers a wide range of possible applications. Whether at home or in the office area, the pendant lamp provides downward directed, glare-free light. In a short time, the pendant lamp including all components can be easily attached to the ceiling and provides uniform illumination over tables and sideboards, for example.

When we launched ROOM IN A BOX in 2013, we agreed 100% on one topic - the idea of a good piece of furniture. A good piece of furniture must not only convince with its function and design, but also with regard to its sustainability and price.
We develop furniture made of cardboard that meet exactly these criteria. They are all sustainable, inexpensive and of their own aesthetics! The heart of our product range - our cardboard bed - has already been sold many thousand times. And the best is yet to come: once it reaches the end of its lifecycle, it flows back into the raw material cycle by 100 %.
Over the past 6 years we have gained extensive experiencbe in the development, production and distribution of cardboard furniture, which has helped us to continually improve our business model. Our vision remains unbroken: To develop a furniture line that firstly, convinces through its ingenious simplicity, secondly, makes the lives of our customers better and thirdly, protects the environment.

The delivery is carried out within Germany and to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.
No dispatch is made to the following foreign islands: Azores, Cabrera, Ceuta, El Hierro, Faroe Islands, Formentera, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Greenland, Ibiza, Corsica, La Gomera, Lanzarote, La Palma, Madeira, Mallorca, Melilla, Menorca, Tenerife
Shipping costs (including VAT)
Domestic deliveries (Germany):
We charge a flat rate of 6.90 € per order.
We calculate the shipping costs abroad as a lump sum as follows:
Czech Republic: €18.90
Unless otherwise specified in the quote, domestic delivery of goods shall be made (Germany) within 1-3 days, for deliveries abroad within 3-6 days from conclusion of contract (if advance payment agreed from the date of the payment instruction).
Please note that there is no delivery on Sundays and public holidays.
If you have ordered articles with different delivery times, we will send the goods in one common shipment, unless we have made different agreements with you. In this case the delivery time is determined by the article with the longest delivery time you have ordered.
Delivery to Switzerland: customs duties and taxes
When shipping to Switzerland you are considered the "importer". You will be charged the Swiss import sales tax (VAT) as well as customs clearance and import fees. Don't worry: We will take care of the registration and declaration of the goods for you right from the time of dispatch. This saves time and costs. The processing is implemented by our shipper DPD. Swiss Post will bill you.
Here is our short summary of the costs for the import of non-commercial orders at ROOM IN A BOX
Two fees are due: 3 % expense allowance for Swiss customs and CHF 12.00 - 17.50 customs clearance fee.
Then the import sales tax is calculated. The first two items are added to the invoice amount and the VAT rate is then applied to the sum.

Subsequent import into Switzerland for shipment to a German delivery address
We also ship to a german delivery address. Then you will be charged the German value added tax first. For a refund of the value added tax, please send us the export certificate stamped by customs by mail. We transfer after receipt of this Forms the German VAT amount to your account.

Please note that a return is only possible within the one month withdrawal period. You can find more information on withdrawal here.
Returns from abroad must be sent at your own expense and cannot be processed via our returns portal.

We only offer a free return shipment for orders that have been delivered to Germany.
Please note: For the return of several packages you need a return label for each package. Please use the respective tracking numbers of the parcels sent by us for the creation.
The return shipment will be handled by the GLS parcel service.
The return labels can be generated via our returns portal.
Please make sure that all accessories are returned in the package.
Please return the product(s) to us immediately and in any case no later than 14 days from the day you receive the parcel label.
The deadline is met if the goods(s) are dispatched before the expiry of the 14-day period.
Once we have received and examined your return, we will refund the purchase amount within 14 days to the payment method used for the order.
