art basel week 2026

Basel Art Week 2026 takes place in Basel, Switzerland, from June 14th to June 21st, 2026, transforming the city into a vibrant platform for contemporary art, design, and cultural exchange. Anchored by Art Basel’s flagship fair, held from June 18th - 21st, the week brings together more than 200 leading galleries and over 4,000 artists across painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and digital media. Alongside the main fair, a constellation of satellite events, independent exhibitions, and institutional programs takes place across the city, including Liste Art Fair Basel, MAZE design salon, Basel Social Club, Photo Basel, and the growing ecosystem of digital and experimental platforms. Major exhibitions and special projects at Basel’s museums and cultural institutions, from Fondation Beyeler and Kunsthalle Basel to Schaulager and Kunstmuseum Basel, further extend the city’s annual celebration of contemporary culture, making Basel a focal point of the international art world.
