caruso st john is an architectural firm established in 1990 by adam caruso and peter st john. the duo were shortlisted for the stirling prize in 2000 and 2006 for walsall art gallery and brick house respectively, before winning in 2016 for newport street gallery, which was built to house the private art collection of artist damien hirst.
