creative camping encompasses a range of autonomous structures including dome, pop-up or inflatable tents, and even unconventional hammocks that can be easily set-up in a number of outdoor environments. camping cars, caravans, trailers, houses on wheels, or mobile campers are also part of the creative camping experience. structures included here ensure a functional sleep during the night, while they can also guarantee absolute freedom from the power grid (see redar’s off-grid toyota tacoma, or living vehicle 2022).
roof tents that pop-top can maximize the sleeping area, while slide-out solar panels unfold to create an extensive living space (see stella vita). meanwhile, geodesic tents attached to the car (see WOLF + cloudbreak) make-the-most of the limited available space. from pleasant escapes to survival situations, creative camping includes a variety of alternative structures that can be installed in the most challenging conditions.
