satyendra pakhalé is an award winning industrial designer who established his studio in amsterdam in 1998. his creative practice is fueled by an ongoing curiosity in materials, technology and its cultural plural expression, which has lead to him to translate these interests into furniture and objects that evoke a sculptural aesthetic; while still being functional. pakhalé has collaborated with a number of renowned companies such as alcantara, cappellini, magis, tubs and TOD’s; and his work is part of the permanent collections at prestigious museums throughout the world, among them: the V&A in london, stedelijk museum in amsterdam, and centre pompidou in paris.
