smaller objects was established by mårten claesson, eero koivisto and ola rune in 2015. the household product range consists of useful design pieces made from materials such as wool, ceramics, wood and steel. what sets smaller objects apart from other companies is that instead of the traditional 2-5% designer compensation, it offers participating creatives 75% of the list price, establishing a stronger sharing economy. it collaborates with international designers that include: nendo, luca nichetto and jin kuramoto.
