phase 1 of the space opened in 2018 and serves as 'proof of possibility' for public space opportunities under toronto’s elevated downtown highway, the gardiner expressway. the bentway conservancy is an agile not-for-profit powered by vital partnerships with the city of toronto, residents, supporters, artists, and dreamers. the organization works as a creative catalyst, rooted in experimentation, demonstration, and collaboration.
