VENICE ARCHITECTURE BIENNALE 2027(2 articles)

The 20th Venice Architecture Biennale will be held from May 8 to November 21, 2027, under the curation of Chinese architects Wang Shu and Lu Wenyu. The theme of the exhibition is Do Architecture: The Possibility of Coexistence in the Face of Real Reality. Positioning architecture as a direct response to ecological crisis, rapid urbanization, and technological abstraction, the 2027 program calls for a return to material reality, local craft, cultural memory, and lived experience. The Biennale will explore how architecture can reconcile artificial intelligence, traditional knowledge, environmental responsibility, and diverse local identities within an increasingly unstable world.
