Er…to me this looks like the typical asian plastic-and effects-style: the more features, the more colours, the more elements, the better? To my eyes it’s chaotic and without form language.
Take alone the rear lights: shapes, colours I can’t count it…that’s too wild. This looks like a boom box for kids!
Take the front grid: what is that…a cooler intake from a combustion engine, filled with “something” to make it look smaller because it’s an electric car? Why don’t they take their chances and do design really new? Seems you need a new generation of designer because the old ones can’t forget they way they always did it…and in lack of ideas they took a look over to the Aisans for inspiration.
And DON’T spend a digital speedometer, that’s 80’s gimmicks “look what we can do!”, that’s not ergonomic design.
they need to trash it and start over. the interior is crap. electric doesn’t mean bland styling. i don’t get it, the car does not sell because no one can stomach the design and chevy continue with the same styling cues as before…. pathetic…
…ouch, that center console is right out of the Medical industry…and that LCD monitor “hood scoop” is right out of the 70’s. But hey, it matches the HUD one…so that’s something…
