advene: the sleekest and smartest electric mountain bike designed by riders

after a cross-country mountain biking tour, cyclist-designer friends created advene. aiming to solve the challenges they faced in the sport, the creators set out to design a bike that could stand all weather and road conditions, security measurements, and even ride through the user’s own fatigue. their ideas and sketches resulted in an off-terrain electric mountain bike that lets bikers freely ride in nature yet feel safe and comfortable during their entire ride.

the designers drew from their experience as mountain bikers themselves and included various components to enhance the riding experience. advene’s basic form is a minimal, sleek bike frame that can withstand up to 400 pounds. the frame, as well as gearing components, is made of rust-free aluminum and the puncture-proof wheel set is water and dust proof. adding to the minimal aesthetic, the designers managed to make the battery removable and hidden to the sight. the ergonomic saddle enables a pleasant ride, making it an ideal bike for mountain experiences. the bike also holds a powerful yet silent motor that can speed up to 32 km/h.

not only is the bike’s design sleek and sporty, but it also comes with a handful of smart features. the bike includes a computer dashboard with many options to enrich the ride. it includes an automatic drive function, six shimano 27 speed options, LCD for battery time, speed and distance display just to name a few. the bike also comes with a thumb throttle that allows the user to ride completely electric and have total freedom, or switch to the pedal assisted mode for when the rider needs more control. conveniently, the bike features 10 accessories and upgrade options available, making it able to customize to each user’s liking.

  • Ill kindly chalk up the negative comments above as youthful. If they someday reach a certain level of experience and maturity they may recognize this bike is perfect for people who have the following characteristics: a limiting disability, out of shape, getting back into shape or just want to have some assistance available while on a ride. I like the idea and I would be interested. Good luck to you!

  • This is absolutely AMAZING!!!! For all you negative Nancy’s out there, or so called “mountain bike purists” ride your regular bike off into the sunset. I am disabled and would love to have one of these for pure enjoyment!! To be able to explore the countryside and trails is life changing for many people!!! Hope the bike turns out great I CAN’T wait to get my hands on one, I want the first one shipped!!!

  • @Mark Mugler, I appreciate being a purist; but it may be unfair to call this “disgusting.” Some of us are aging enthusiasts who enjoy mountain biking; but are not as spry and strong as we used to be. I’m looking forward to an affordable ebike that will help on those portions of the trail that are literally and uphill battle for us over 50s.

  • As soon as the first sentence is a company’s own review; “the sleekest and smartest” …I move on.

  • “off terrain” So it is a flying machine?
Looks nice but not a word on motor. If it’s in rear wheel, it would be interesting to learn about the bikes handling. This is likey to be comprised for any decent off-road riding. Oh. I forgot, it flys.

  • This is disgusting. The purpose of a mountain bike is to ride using your own power and skill . If you can’t do it no machine should substitute for that. It saddens me to see this.
