aleksandr isaev visualizes G-NIVA 2020, a modern hybrid terrain vehicle

russian car concept designer, aleksandr isaev shares renderings of his latest project: the G-NIVA 2020. painted in light beige, the car combines design elements of two classic terrain vehicles, the mercedes benz G-class model and the NIVA VAZ 2121 model. isaev used autodesk 3DS max to model his project and corona render to visualize the final outcome.

the G-NIVA 2020 takes a modern approach of the two vintage cars, while incorporating 21st century technology. the front of the vehicle takes form of a mercedes G-class, including the mercedes benz emblem, while the back features more of the russian VAZ 2121 model. from the renderings, it also seems that the passenger windows and the sunroof can be completely exposed. the interior of the vehicle is finished in all black with leather seats and carbon fiber compartments. in front of the driver’s seat, two touch screen LED screen dashboards can also be found.  

‘in 2018, the world learned that mercedes had decided on a radical update, but stylistically new gelenwagen remained true to the classic model,’ says aleksandr isaev. ‘and then came the moment of updating for the G-NIVA 2020.’
