what if one device could replace them all? well, italian designer andrea mangone has interpreted this challenge with the all-around transformable ‘UPSIDEDOWN’ laptop. the hybrid concept is a powerful yet flexible machine that enables users to work, play and create between many different modes – laptop, desktop, tablet and wacom. as a key to facilitating this range of performance, it features a highly advanced 360 degrees friction hinget that enables the electronic to bend in half. furthermore, it includes a wacom pen digitizer with 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, as well as a 13-inch touchscreen.

what differences andrea mangone’s ‘UPSIDEDOWN’ concept to the other hybrid laptops on the market is its elements of modularity. as well as its literal flexibility, its wireless keyboard is detachable to enable different modes, and a wireless mouse can also be used. the transformable concept meets the size and style requirements of modern day laptops, measuring a minuscule 15mm in width and made from a premium combination of dark anodized aluminum and glass.
