as part of its commitment to combat climate change and create a healthier environment, apple has announced its global facilities are now powered with 100 percent clean energy. that includes stores, offices, and data centers powered from renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydrogen, and other clean energy sources.

since 2015 apple has been on a mission to up its then 93-percent status, a push including 300 solar rooftops in japan and 800 in singapore. the company says it’s currently has 25 operational renewable energy projects around the world, with 15 more currently being built. once complete their 626 megawatts of clean energy will reach 1.4 gigawatts.
