the ASOME ENGINE is a bluetooth receiver that can be used with any pair of headphones to instantly grant them wireless capability. compact in size and lightweight, the handy little pod saves you from splashing out on a wire-free headset — allowing you to enjoy unhampered music streaming wherever you are. available in 3 stylish hues — slate grey, khaki, and matte white — the bluetooth device is intended to become a subtly stylish addition to your wardrobe.

the ASOME is created by suntel, a global internet of things and wearable product manufacturer. the studio teamed up with industrial designer joongho choi to create a tech device that would compliment personal fashion and style, blending seamlessly into your outfit as a whole. the product comes with a neck strap, hook and clip to suit a variety of arrangements, allowing it to be worn as a badge or necklace. taking the visible tech elements down to a minimum, buttons, LED indicators and charging outlets are all incorporated discreetly into the design. capable of streaming high-fidelity music with the support of the qualcomm aptX codex, the device lets you roam where you will for up to 10 hours. a multi-pairing function (for up to two devices) and a range of up to 15 meters lets you groove with the music, keeping interruption to a minimum.

this isn’t the first time we’ve seen designers blend tech with fashion. will.i.am recently released his ‘buttons’ wireless headphones, created to be worn not just as a headset, but as a statement piece in and of themselves.
