Aston martin brings its F1 race car to DBX707 AMR24 SUV
Aston Martin introduces DBX707 AMR24, dubbed the ‘supercar of the SUVs,’ which shares some of the same parts and designs as Aston Martin’s Aramco Formula 1 Team’s AMR24 racing car and the Official Medical Car of Formula 1. From the outside, the Aston Martin Racing Green and AMR Lime brake calipers, or the strips of lime lines around the SUV, already give away that the model fuses the road and track car into a single vehicle.
Inside the SUV, the trim’s two colorways range from Onyx Black with lime stitching and piping to Onyx Black and Eifel Green Duotone with a lime contrast stitch. If the owners want them, they can have carbon fiber and dark chrome jewelry or titanium mesh with satin chrome placed in the interiors too. The SUV comes with 23-inch Fortis wheels in either satin or gloss black, as well as an AMR24 engine plaque. The DBX707 AMR24 Edition is now available for customers to order.
‘Supercar of SUVs’ with lime accents everywhere
One cockpit, five seats, lime everywhere. For the DBX707 AMR24, the cabin lights up with the neon hue of the lime stitching, highlighting the ‘Aston Martin’ foiling on the instrument panel. Lime is also the main actor around the hand-stitched saddle strap to the wireless charging station. As a cherry on top of the British car manufacturer’s supercar of the SUVs, the word ‘AMR24’ is etched into the door sills. Bowers & Wilkins, Aston Martin’s audio partner, has worked on the sound system of the cabin, acoustically engineered and tailored for the F1-inspired SUV.
For specs buffs, the SUV is equipped with a 707PS/900Nm 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and a 9-speed ‘wet clutch’ automatic gearbox. There’s also an all-wheel drive system capable of sending up to 100% of the torque to the rear axle on demand. This means that the F1 SUV can speed from 0 to 60 mph in 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 193 mph on the road. Aston Martin’s DBX707 AMR24 SUV is available to order.
