audi ZERØ: one sphere and four tubes redefine the electric car through radical geometry
mathematical geometry informs the vehicle's proportions and appearance, conceived by wini camacho.
One sphere and four tubes shape Audi ZERØ concept electric car
Designed by Wini Camacho, the Audi ZERØ is a conceptual electric vehicle that explores automotive design through a highly reduced geometric framework. The proposal is based on five primary volumes, one sphere and four tubes, which together define the vehicle’s architecture, proportions, and appearance. By reducing the design to these elemental forms, the project investigates how mathematical geometry can generate a new approach to vehicle design.
At the center of the concept, a spherical passenger cell forms the main cabin, while four tubular elements organize the remainder of the vehicle. Two tubes accommodate the wheel pods, while the other two shape the tapering front and rear sections of the body. This composition produces a compact, recognizable silhouette that departs from conventional automotive design while maintaining a clear structural logic. Measuring 3.1 meters in length and 1.85 meters in width, the Audi ZERØ is conceived as an ultra-compact two-seat electric vehicle. The concept is presented in two body styles: the enclosed CØupé, which represents the primary expression of the design, and the open-top RØadster, which further reduces the vehicle’s visual and physical enclosure. Performance-oriented track versions of both models apply the same geometric principles within a motorsport context.

Machined aluminum and analog controls define Audi ZERØ’s cabin
Conceived by designer Wini Camacho, the design philosophy centers on reduction rather than stylistic expression. Unnecessary elements are removed so that each component performs a specific structural or functional role. Instead of relying on complex surfaces or decorative details, the vehicle’s identity is defined through proportion, geometry, and the relationship between its five primary volumes.
The interior continues this approach with a simplified layout organized around the steering wheel. A fixed aluminum central hub incorporates a planetary-inspired analog instrument cluster together with integrated physical controls, concentrating the vehicle’s primary interface into a single component. The combination of machined aluminum, mechanical instrumentation, and tactile controls emphasizes precision and functionality while maintaining the project’s minimalist design language.
