bollinger motors released its first EV truck back in 2017, a two-door ‘gunhouse’ grey model with black accents and a black satin wheel finish. the four-door b1 and b2 have the same specs as the two-door version and also feature the same powertrain. they’ll have a dual-motor setup that provides full-time all-wheel drive, with exceptional horsepower, torque and ground clearance. it can generate around 614 horsepower, which pulls power from a 120kwh battery pack that should last for about 200 miles.

the trucks have a top speed of 100 miles per hour and can go from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds. torque clocks in at 472 lb-ft and both models have a 5,201-pound payload capacity and a 7,500 pound towing capacity. they also have a two-speed hi/lo gearbox, which should help with off-roading. the company says it is planning on a minimum of 200 miles between charges.

bollinger plans to build the two class 3 electric trucks in the detroit area and says it already has over 30,000 no-obligation reservations. production isn’t scheduled to begin until later next year and bollinger motors hasn’t said anything regarding price as of yet.
