bosch proposes the use of jet thrusters to prevent motorcycle accidents caused by contact with elements on the road surface. while still in its research phase, the antislip technology addresses situations where wheels come in contact with wet leaves, an oil spill or gravel and begin to slip sideways if they can no longer apply sufficient lateral force in a curve.

bosch describes the feature as ‘magic hand’, applying an additional external lateral force to keep the motorcycle on track and considerably reduce the risk of a fall. gas is released from a gas accumulator similar to that used in passenger-car airbags when a sensor detects a sideways wheel slip. it then flows into the tank adapter and is vented in a certain direction through a nozzle, keeping the motorcycle on track.
