london-based creative studio technology will save us have developed a ‘DIY gamer kit’ for learning how to program video games using arduino and custom software. the unit takes about two hours to solder and fully assemble, complete with all the components and instructions needed to build a custom handheld game console from scratch. the design mimics the classic gaming controls of nintendo’s original game boy, equipped with a 8 x 8 LED matrix display, four buttons and a small speaker. depending on the user’s programming skill set, the kit allows you to add music to your projects, or sync up to other gamers for multi-player action.
